Draft operational policy
Dealetta Privacy Policy
Version draft-2026-09-02 · Effective 2 September 2026. This draft describes the current DEV service. The operator's legal identity, registered address, contact details and final legal wording still require operator and legal review.
Information Dealetta processes
Dealetta processes account details such as display name and email, password hashes and security events, sessions and registered notification devices. Plaintext passwords are never stored.
Location and discovery
Your current or selected location is used to find nearby spare capacity. Town and postcode searches are resolved without creating a Consumer search history. Dealetta does not need to retain a trail of precise locations for ordinary discovery.
Claims, redemptions and Businesses
Holds, claims, activation and redemption records are retained to provide entitlements, prevent fraud, resolve disputes and give participating Businesses an operational redemption history. Businesses receive only the information required to validate and complete a redemption.
Verified reviews and notifications
A review can be submitted only after a verified Dealetta redemption. Public reviews use a display-name snapshot and do not expose email, Consumer ID, claim ID or session data. Essential transaction and security notifications support the service; optional discovery and review reminders can be managed in Account settings.
Retention and your choices
You may update your profile, change security credentials, revoke sessions and deactivate your account. Deactivation preserves transaction records and verified reviews. A legally reviewed export, deletion and anonymisation process remains a deliberate product follow-up so required operational or legal records are not destroyed incorrectly.
Contact and final review
Privacy contact details, controller identity, lawful bases, processor list, international-transfer wording and formal rights procedure are operator placeholders pending final legal review.
